Larissa Stadelmann, BA

Larissa Stadelmann studied history as a major and classical philology as a minor for her bachelor’s degree at the University of Bern. In her bachelor’s thesis «mehr gute intention als verständige conduite» – Johann Christian Leonhardi und seine Schriften aus London 1704 she researched the life, networks and writings of the Grison priest Johann Christian Leonhardi. She analysed these writings alongside his voyage to London in the year 1704, where he tried to gain some diplomatic attention. 

 

In her master’s programme Larissa Stadelmann studies history with specialization in Early Modern Swiss History and Early Modern History as her major and Editorial Studies as her minor. 

 

While studying, she worked as a tutor at the department of early modern Swiss history, where she is now an assistant. In this role, she supports her colleagues at the SNSF-Eccellenza-Project «Republican Secrets».
